7.10 What is the pickup process for Swedish vehicles?

Swedish vehicles must be picked up at one of our two Swedish hubs, located in Bjorkvik and Falkenberg. You can either arrange to collect the vehicle directly from the designated Swedish hub or make arrangements with OPENLANE to have the vehicle transported to your local hub at your expense. For transport costs and further information, click here.

When your vehicle is ready to be picked up, you’ll receive two different pickup authorisations (PUAs): an OPENLANE PUA and a Seller PUA.

  • The OPENLANE PUA is just for you. It contains all the information about your purchase, including your reference and invoice numbers.

  • The Seller PUA must be presented at the hub to collect the vehicle. It includes the ‘Seller release code’, which is absolutely essential—without it, the hub can’t release the vehicle.

The Seller PUA includes the address and contact details for the hub where the vehicle is to be collected. Once received, please contact the hub to arrange vehicle pick-up, and follow the steps laid out in FAQ 7.3 What is the pickup procedure?
